Enjoying Lydia

So the other night I experienced my first round of false labor. I didn't go to the hospital we just let it play out and sure enough it was false. I also decided that it would be incredibly early for this poor little guy to come. I also decided that I have these last few precious weeks with just my baby girl. Although it seems as if she is testing boundaries these days. I wonder if she can tell something that I can't. We did have a very cure wish I had gotten it on tape moment last night. She decided that it would be fun to play with mommy's big belly. But just as she started to rub it the baby kicked her and with wide eyed excitement she lets out a very happy scream and says baby baby. I reassured her that yes that is the baby, and she proceeded the rest of the night to come and try to feel him move. So as I enjoy these last little memories of a family of three I thought it would be good to blog about it.

Back for a long time

After a busy month of traveling we are finally back home to stay until after the baby is born. We had a great time in Virginia Beach and then flew up to New York for Melinda's baby shower and surprise it was a double shower for both her and I. Thank you Yvette and mom for planning that. We had a great time but are very tired from flying back. Now we are working on the next stage of our life as we finish preparing for the baby.
