Happy Father's Day Joel

Today, we got to celebrate Joel's second year as a Father. We are looking forward to the next Father day where he will be a Father to both our munchkin and our little boy. Joel you are an amazing Daddy!!! I can't wait for the next 20 or so years to watch you as you are a daddy to our kiddos. I love you!!!

Trumpet of God

You all are probably thinking wow what got into Michelle she is going to be all spiritual. Actually I am not LOL!!! But you would have thought that happened tonight outside the way Joel jumped out of his chair in fear. We as a family were enjoying the nice evening outside and just sitting there having good conversation and Lydia was playing around in Joel's car. Well all of the sudden she lays on the horn and BAM!!! Joel is up and out of his chair like we were going to be raptured away. But no he was just living in fear of whatever that sound was. I couldn't help but bust out my chair laughing at him and as I write this I am still laughing about it. The funniest part about it is I have never been able to scare him half as bad as the sound of the horn in his ear and Lydia also scared screaming OUT OUT!!!. So it was most eventful night at the Leineweber house, wish you all could have seen it.

Sleeping well

Lydia has adjusted to her big girl bed really well. What we thought would be hard has been real easy. Although, one nap she crawled out of her bed and came banging on the door because she thought nap time was over. So I put her back in bed and told her to stay there until mommy came to get her and it worked. This morning however, daddy had to get her because she once again crawled out of bed and daddy had to put her back so she knows that she can't get out of bed until we come and get her. Other than that the transition has been good. She is battling an ear infection now, but she is the happiest even though she is sick. We are going on vacation next week and she will get to sleep in a big girl bed at her Nana and Pa's house. I will let you know how that goes.
